How can osteopathy help adults?
Osteopathy aims to reduce the symptoms and treat the cause of pain to improve your general health, wellbeing and quality of life. It is an extremely effective yet gentle form of therapy that relieves pain by improving the functioning of the body as a whole.
As well as hands-on treatment, I will explain in detail why your specific problem occurred.
I will also recommend ways in which you can help yourself, either through gentle exercises, modifying your existing exercise routine, adjusting your diet or adapting your work and home environment. These adjustments will enhance your response to treatment and help to reduce the risk of problems in the future.
Osteopathy may provide effective treatment on its own, or it may be best used alongside your other treatment approaches. I will work with you to determine the approach that suits you.
